Polish Post Office (Poczta Polska) due to the suspension of flights to China has stopped acceptance of
parcels and letters to this country – the press office of Poczta Polska informed yesterday.
Polish airlines PLL LOT announced on Tuesday that it is prolonging the suspension of all flights to Beijing until February 29th. The reason behind the decision is the coronavirus outbreak. Initially, the airline had suspended its flights to Beijing until February 9th. The Polish Post Office emphasized that there are no other transport options. According to Poczta Polska, delays may occur in delivering letters and parcels already sent to China. The postal operator also explained that according to incoming messages from the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate (GIS) from January 31st 2020, there is no risk of viral infection from goods originating from China.
