    95th Academy Awards: ‘EO’ by Skolimowski without the award for best international film

    The 95th Academy Awards gala took place on Sunday. The Polish film ‘EO’ by Jerzy Skolimowski was not awarded the Oscar for best international film. However, the nomination was a great success and critics from New York and Los Angeles gave the film their main awards.


    ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’

    The German production ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’ was distinguished as the best international film and at the same time, received the award that the Polish film was nominated for.


    ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’

    The leader of the 95th Academy Awards, in terms of receiving statuettes, was ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’, a 2022 American absurdist comedy-drama film written and directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert (collectively known as “Daniels”), who co-produced it with Anthony and Joe Russo. The film won 11 awards.
