Hubert Hurkacz has one last chance to advance to the season-ending Tournament of Champions. The ATP Finals will feature the eight best tennis players of the current season and at the moment the Pole is ranked ninth in the Race to Turin special ranking.

Hurkacz started the struggle in ATP 1000 competition in Paris with a victory against the French Adrian Mannarino. However, the victory did not come easily to Hurkacz. The fate of the first set was decided by a tie-break.
