The partner of Eva Kaili, Francesco Giorgi has pleaded guilty to taking bribes. Eva Kaili was arrested on Sunday by a Belgian court decision, and on Tuesday she was dismissed from her position as vice president of the European Parliament. Charges against her and three others include corruption, participation in a criminal group and money laundering.
