1 million 335 thousand people visited the Krakow Museum last year. We are very happy with this result, which remains stable. Some of our branches recorded an increase in attendance – museum director Michał Niezabitowski said.
The museum currently has 13 branches, but if you count the branches such as Barbican, City Hall Tower, Pharmacy Under the Eagle – manages 21 branches. Last year was the 120th anniversary of the Historical Museum of the City of Krakow, which has been using the shorter name since March – the Krakow Museum. The best results were recorded by three museum branches: Schindler’s Factory – 392,680 people, Underground Market – 359,865 people and the Old Synagogue – 139,560 visitors. The latter building was closed to visitors in December due to renovation. The City Hall Tower can also boast record attendance in 2019 – over 92,000 visitors and Pharmacy under the Eagle – over 85,000 guests.
