The Polish Women’s Handball team has secured a spot in the World Championship, which will take place in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden in December. They secured their spot after winning their second playoff match against Kosovo with a score of 32-20 (17-12). The Polish team had already won the first match 36-22, making their path to victory seem clear.

Poland’s victory secures their place in the World Championship, and they now await the group draw to determine their opponents. The International Handball Federation has not yet announced the date of the draw.

The Polish team played well, with Monika Kobylińska leading the offense with seven goals. Dagmara Nocuń, Daria Michalak, and Aleksandra Rosiak also made significant contributions to the team’s success. In addition to their strong offense, the team’s defense, led by Barbara Zima in goal, kept Kosovo at bay for much of the game.
