The Polish junior speedway team has secured the title of World Team Champions once again. Riders Wiktor Przyjemski and Bartosz Bańbor dominated the challenging conditions in the United Kingdom, reaffirming Poland’s dominance in the sport. This latest victory adds to Poland’s impressive record, having triumphed in 17 out of 20 finals, including 11 consecutive wins.
The competition, known as Speedway of Nations 2, featured eight teams of riders under the age of 21 competing in a round-robin format. Despite the adverse weather conditions, with rain making the track particularly difficult, the Polish team excelled, amassing a total of 41 points—Przyjemski contributing 19 and Bańbor 22. Their consistent performance secured their championship victory without the need for final elimination races.
