Coulter will oversee Hanwha Aerospace’s global defense operations, including its subsidiaries Hanwha Ocean and Hanwha Systems. His leadership aims to enhance the company’s ability to deliver integrated land, sea, and air solutions in key markets, particularly the United States.
Coulter brings extensive experience in defense and government sectors. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Business Development for Leonardo DRS, where he played a key role in the company’s transformation into a global aerospace and defense leader. His distinguished career also includes senior roles at the U.S. Department of Defense, Department of State, and U.S. Senate, alongside operational command as a U.S. Navy reserve officer.
Hanwha Aerospace is internationally renowned for products such as the K9 Self-Propelled Howitzer and the Redback Infantry Fighting Vehicle. The company continues to innovate in advanced defense systems and is driving South Korea’s space technology initiatives.
