Zelensky: Weapons and equipment are on the way to Ukraine

– Weapons and equipment are coming to us – tweeted Ukrainian President Zelensky after a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron.

“A new day on the diplomatic frontline began with a conversation with Emmanuel Macron. Weapons and equipment from our partners are on the way to Ukraine. The anti-war coalition is working,” wrote Zelensky on Twitter. 

Earlier the same day, the Ukrainian president assured in a video that no one in his country would lay down their arms and that the defence would continue.

“Good morning, Ukrainians. Now there’s a lot of false information on the Internet that I asked our army to lay down their weapons and evacuate. So, here I am. We will not lay down our arms. We will defend our country because our weapon is the truth. Our truth is that this is our country, our children, and we will defend all of that. That’s what I wanted to tell you. Glory to Ukraine!,” said Zełenski in a ten-second video taken in front of the President’s office in central Kyiv.
