Poland’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) increased by 8.5 per cent year on year in the first quarter of 2022, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) said in a flash estimate on Tuesday.
Economists polled by PAP expected GDP to rise by 8.1 per cent year on year.
Quarter on quarter, Poland’s GDP grew by 2.4 per cent in the first three months of this year, GUS said.
In the fourth quarter of 2021, the country’s GDP rose by 7.6 per cent year on year, GUS said.
