82 years ago, on September 27, 1939, the Service for Poland's Victory was established - the beginning of the Polish Underground State (PUS). It was the second attempt in less than eighty years to establish secret structures of a state fighting for independence. The creators of PUS were aware that they were the continuators of the Secret Polish State of 1863–1864.

The spectacle "Good Lies" directed by Marcin Hycnar and performed by Spektaklove from Warsaw won the Grand Prix of the 25th National Festival of Comedy Talia in Tarnów. The jurors judged a total of eight performances from all over the country.

Oskar Schindler’s Enamel Factory

The factory at 4 Lipowa Street in Krakow started its activity two years before the Second World War. In the autumn of 1939, when it was taken away from its three Jewish owners, it fell into the hands of Oskar Schindler (1908-1974), a Sudeten German, member of the NSDAP, and most probably a collaborator of the Abwehr. Thanks to his extensive connections he won numerous orders for his Deutsche Emailwarenfabrik, commonly called Emalia, both civilian and military.

“Solidarity” to protest in front of the CJEU headquarter in Luxembourg

The President of the “Solidarity” Trade Union Piotr Duda announced that on 22 October a protest of trade unionists will be held in front of the headquarter of the EU Court of Justice in Luxembourg in connection with the situation of the Turów mine and power plant. "We are going to the +Tribunal of Injustice+ of the EU in Luxembourg to hand in the order to close this court. Just as the other side wants to close our workplaces, mines, power plants, taking away access to electricity," he announced.

This year, 112 thousand Coffeedesk shares will hit the market - each valued at PLN 37.
