    Export rose 22.9 per cent year-on-year to 112.8 billion euros in January-May 2021, while import rose 21.7 per cent in the period to 109.2 billion euros, the Central Statistical Office (CSO) said. The surplus in foreign trade goods turnover amounted to 3.5 billion euros. The positive balance was €3.5 billion in January-May 2021 compared to €2 billion a year ago.
