Świnoujście - The Land of 44 islands invites you to a unique event - "Baltic Fair 2021". The summer event in Świnoujście will take place on the Władysława IV Coast near the Orlen petrol station from 19 to 22 August. The program includes lots of attractions, concerts and shopping. August 15 is considered the anniversary of the Polish victory in the Battle of Warsaw. The battle in which the Poles defeated Bolshevik Russia. This huge battle between Dęblin and the border with East Prussia was the sum of several clashes, the results of which were decided by the determination of the Polish command and soldiers, as well as a perfectly prepared action plan.

The Saturday stage of the individual time trial in Katowice brought one change to the podium of the general classification of the Tour de Pologne. Joao Almeida (Deceuninck-Quick Step) has consolidated his lead and is very close to triumphing in the 78th edition. Michał Kwiatkowski (INEOS-Grenadiers) advanced to the third position. The Pole has a good chance to win the sprinters' classification. One of his rivals is Portuguese.

It was the second stage win for the race leader, who strengthened his lead in the general classification. The fourth to cross the finishing line was Michał Kwiatkowski (INEOS-Grenadiers).

Yesterday, a mass dispatch of malicious SMSes to Polish phone numbers was launched. Above we have provided a picture of the message. The messages are sent from various phone numbers, mainly +49 (Germany) prefixes. They also contain various links, directing to a website with a fake message about a "new voicemail".

84 years ago, NKVD chief Nikolai Yezhov issued order number 00485 ordering "the complete liquidation of Polish spy networks". Out of 143,000 people arrested in the USSR on charges of spying for Poland in the years 1937-1938, 111,000 were executed. According to Professor Timothy Snyder, according to cautious estimates, among those executed during this period were 85,000 Poles.

The second phase of 78. The Tour de Pologne did not disappoint. In the last kilometres, the situation changed now and then. In the very difficult uphill stretch leading to the finishing line in Przemyśl, the best was Joao Almeida. The Deceuninck-Quick Step rider thus became the main favourite in the race. He also became the new leader. For sure Michał Kwiatkowski (INEOS) will not give up, as he took fourth place with a small loss. Today, the longest stretch of this year's edition, from Sanok to Rzeszów.
