Adam Bodnar, the Minister of Justice, announced that he has “submitted a request to the National Broadcasting Council regarding a broadcast on TV Republika.” The station’s editor-in-chief, Tomasz Sakiewicz, responded to his post on social media.
“Freedom of speech is a fundamental right guaranteed by the Constitution, but—like all freedoms—it has its limits, defined by human dignity, public safety, and constitutional order,” Bodnar wrote on social media.
Wolność słowa to fundamentalne prawo zagwarantowane w Konstytucji, ale – jak każda wolność – ma swoje granice, wyznaczone przez godność człowieka, bezpieczeństwo publiczne i porządek konstytucyjny.

Wystąpiłem do KRRiT ws. audycji Telewizji Republika, w której padły wypowiedzi…
He stated that he had “reached out to the National Broadcasting Council regarding a program aired on TV Republika.” The issue stems from a comment made by a woman who called into the live show during a broadcast.
“Mr. Minister, you’ve put forward a weak candidate, but this won’t help him,” replied Tomasz Sakiewicz, editor-in-chief of the station, commenting on Bodnar’s post.
Panie ministrze wystawiliście słabego kandydata ale tak mu pan nie pomoże
