Bogucki fires back at Tusk after forced entry into Nawrocki family home: “Your government failed to coordinate the services”

“If you and your government supervised and coordinated the services as efficiently as you manipulate and lie, we would be the safest country,” Zbigniew Bogucki told Donald Tusk.

The exchange between the politicians concerns events from Saturday evening. Emergency services received an anonymous report about an alleged fire at the family home of President Karol Nawrocki in Gdańsk. Firefighters and police forcibly entered the apartment by breaking down the door. However, after an intervention lasting several minutes, neither a fire nor the presence of any people inside the apartment was confirmed.

On Sunday morning, the prime minister sought to distance himself from responsibility for the previous day’s incident. “Calling a fire brigade intervention, carried out in response to information about a possible fire and a threat to human life,a ‘brutal attack by the services against the president’ is either extreme cynicism or extreme stupidity,” he said, addressing politicians from the Law and Justice party and the head of the Presidential Chancellery.

Bogucki responded:

“If you and your government supervised and coordinated the services as efficiently as you manipulate and lie, for example, about the content of my post, we would be the safest country.”

“Do not cowardly hide your own incompetence and that of your ministers behind firefighters’ uniforms. It is not their fault that there is no coordination system between the services, it is yours,”

he told Tusk.

He also referred the prime minister to his post from the previous day. More in the article: Security services force entry into President Nawrocki’s family home amid wave of false emergency calls targeting Poland’s right wing.
