“They want to manipulate you and your choices! Don’t let them! Help us expose their fraud!” — former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki urges, as he unmasks the campaign behind the “Your Voice Matters” videos.
The Polish Business Council Foundation, foundations linked to ORLEN and PKO BP, as well as real estate developers, have been named among the donors supporting the organization “Your Voice Matters,” which has launched a controversial online campaign.
The campaign features videos posted on YouTube, on the “Your Voice Matters” channel, which since September 2023 has been publishing short, often just a few seconds long, clips. Their main purpose appears to be portraying opposition politicians and voters in a negative light, in line with the propaganda efforts of the ruling coalition.
Over the past week, four new videos were released, featuring individuals with their eyes covered, speaking about “the return of our law and our justice” following the upcoming presidential elections.
“If I were an enemy of Poland, I would produce exactly these kinds of videos,” commented Professor Sławomir Cenckiewicz on Friday morning, criticizing the organization’s activities.
In response to these publications, former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki also released a short video.
“They want to manipulate you and your choices! Don’t let them! Help us expose their fraud!” he appealed in his statement.
