“Mr. Prime Minister, the future President of Poland will not allow democracy and the freedom to choose a president to be taken from our country. It is time to abandon hysteria, stop undermining Polish democracy, and begin cooperating with the future President of Poland,” declared Karol Nawrocki during a meeting with Law and Justice (PiS) voters in Pułtusk.
“This is a free, sovereign, and independent Poland, and it is the Polish people who have chosen their president,” he added.
Nawrocki began by expressing his gratitude to PiS Chairman Jarosław Kaczyński and the party’s leadership.
“I would like to thank all the members of parliament and party activists for supporting someone who has never been a member of your party over the past eight months. Thank you for your courage and determination,” he said.
He assured voters that after August 6th, the country will see a hard-working president who will not delay in implementing his program.
“On August 7th, I will present concrete initiatives. I will not allow the Polish people to be deceived!” Nawrocki promised.
He also emphasized his readiness for dialogue with the Prime Minister and the government.
“This is our shared victory—a victory for a safe, stable, and ambitious Poland. As of August 6th, the responsibility for fostering national dialogue will lie with us. Our success is also due to those who voted with hope—hope that I love this country and will shape it into a space for addressing important and fundamental matters. That is the kind of president I intend to be. I want to be a president of dialogue. We want to build a Poland for those who love and respect it,” he underscored.
The President-elect also addressed Prime Minister Donald Tusk directly:
“Mr. Prime Minister, the future President of Poland will not allow democracy and the right to choose the head of state to be taken away from the Polish people. It is time to abandon hysteria, stop dismantling Polish democracy, and begin working with the future President of Poland. This is a free, sovereign, and independent Poland—and it is the Polish people who have elected their president,” Nawrocki stated firmly.
