    Ewa Swoboda – European vice-champion

    Ewa Swoboda won the silver medal in the 60m run at the athletics indoor European Championships in Istanbul. Mujinga Kambundji of Switzerland has triumphed. The bronze was won by Britain’s Daryll Neita. Magdalena Stefanowicz and Martyna Kotwiła fell in the semi-finals.

    Kambundji equalled the indoor European Championships record of 7.00, with Swoboda losing to her by 0.09 seconds. Neita achieved a time of 7.12.

    Ewa Swoboda has now won her third ME indoor medal. She finished first in Glasgow in 2019 and was second in Belgrade two years earlier.
