At night in Bytom, 10 buses burned in a fire. This is the third huge fire in Poland in a few days.
The bus depot at Saint Elżbieta Street in Bytom, Silesia burst into flames last night. Ten buses were completely consumed by the fire, yet fortunately, no casualties were reported.
Firefighters from Bytom, assisted by units from Świętochłowice, sprang into action upon receiving the alarm at around 2:20 am. The residents were startled awake by successive explosions, each marking the incineration of another bus.
Out of the approximately 60 buses housed in the depot, all powered by combustion engines, firefighters managed to rescue 50. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the police.
