Former Minister of Education and Science, Przemysław Czarnek, sharply criticized the government’s ideas: “Everything is falling apart!” The targets of his criticism were Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and Magdalena Biejat. The issue at hand was out-of-court divorces.
Czarnek on the Coalition’s New Ideas
“If it’s not working, it’s just not working” – says Przemysław Czarnek about the latest conflicts within the December 13 coalition. The video he published shows a media clip of a clash between Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz (PSL) and Deputy Speaker of the Senate Magdalena Biejat (Left). The dispute revolved around a controversial bill allowing divorce without court involvement.
Czarnek states bluntly in the recording:
“Everything is falling apart. Now we have a huge conflict between Ms. Marshal Biejat and Deputy Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz over divorces.”
Regarding the Left’s new idea on so-called out-of-court divorces, he recalls the constitutional duty to protect the family:
“Any weakening of the family is contrary to Article 18 of the Constitution. That’s why, colleagues from PSL, stand firm on your position. No facilitation of out-of-court divorces. This is an unconstitutional absurdity.”
