More than half of Poles view Karol Nawrocki’s performance as President of Poland positively, according to the latest poll conducted by United Surveys for wp.pl.


How Poles Assess Karol Nawrocki’s Presidency – Poll

United Surveys conducted a survey for the wp.pl portal, asking Poles the following question: “How do you assess Karol Nawrocki’s performance after the first six months of his term as President of Poland?”

The results show that as many as 51.1 percent of respondents assess the president’s performance positively. In this group, 26.7 percent expressed a definitely positive opinion, while 24.4 percent were rather positive.

A negative assessment of the presidency was expressed by a total of 46.1 percent of respondents, including 29.4 percent who were definitely negative and 16.7 percent who were rather negative. Meanwhile, 2.8 percent chose the answer “I don’t know / it’s hard to say.”

Assessment of the Presidency Among Opposition and Coalition Voters

Among voters of the governing coalition, a critical assessment of the president dominates. 54 percent of them assess Karol Nawrocki’s performance as definitely negative, and 28 percent as rather negative. Positive opinions in this group are much rarer – 14 percent of respondents declared a rather positive assessment, and only 2 percent a definitely positive one. 2 percent have no opinion.

A completely different picture emerges among voters of Law and Justice (PiS) and Confederation. In this group, as many as 46 percent of respondents assess the president definitely positively, and 44 percent rather positively. Negative assessments are marginal: 8 percent of respondents chose “rather negative”, and 1 percent “definitely negative.” Another 1 percent were unable to clearly assess the head of state’s performance.

In the group described as “other voters,” moderately positive opinions prevail. 41 percent of respondents assess the president’s performance as rather positive, and 22 percent as definitely positive. Negative assessments are declared by a total of 30 percent of respondents (including 24 percent definitely negative and 6 percent rather negative), while 7 percent have not formed an opinion.
