Hubert Hurkacz Powers His Way to ATP Shanghai Final

Hubert Hurkacz powered his way to the ATP Shanghai final with a dominant 6-3, 6-4 victory over Sebastian Korda. This win represents Hurkacz’s most significant achievement of the season, as he advanced to the final of the ATP 1000 series tournament in Shanghai.

The match featured a display of remarkable serving skills from both players. Korda had a couple of opportunities to break Hurkacz’s serve, but it was Hurkacz who seized the pivotal moment at 3-2 in the first set, securing the break with precision and ultimately winning the set 6-3.

In the second set, Korda faced early troubles as Hurkacz broke him in the opening game. Despite showing determination, Korda couldn’t find a way to break Hurkacz’s dominant service game. Notably, Hurkacz didn’t face a single break point throughout the match, showcasing his exceptional serving.

With a strong and unyielding performance, Hurkacz claimed the second set 6-4 and secured a spot in the final. He now awaits the winner of the other semi-final match between Andrei Rublev and Grigor Dimitrov in what promises to be a thrilling ATP Shanghai final on Sunday, October 15.
