Indexation of pension benefits from March 1, 2023

From 1 March 2023, the minimum pension will be as high as PLN 1,588.44 – a record 77% increase compared to 2015. This is also a benefit increase of at least PLN 250 (no less than 14.8 per cent). “We will continue to do everything to ensure that every retiree has a decent life.”, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki stated.

“It’s almost twice as much as in the times of Donald Tusk.”,

Mateusz Morawiecki emphasized in Wednesday’s “Super Express”.

The Prime Minister announced that almost every pensioner in Poland would receive from PLN 200 to PLN 400 more per month.

“With such support, inflation will weigh less. And already this year, prices should stabilize. We will continue to do everything to ensure that every retiree has a decent life.”

    Morawiecki informed.

“Seniors are the apple of the Law and Justice government’s eye. Consistent indexation of benefits, tax-free pension, 13th and 14th pensions – these are specific matters that we have taken care of. Since 2015, the situation of Polish seniors has changed beyond recognition. And we will continue to do everything to ensure a decent life for every retiree.”,

declared the Head of the government.
