The President of Poland hosted creators of innovations participating in the seventh edition of the “Start–ups at the Palace” project. This year’s conference theme focused on technological innovations in the agri-food sector.
The event saw participation from young creators, start-ups, established companies, representatives of start-up hubs, and higher education institutions. The aim was to highlight the transformative changes in Polish agriculture through innovation and the pivotal role start-ups play in this process. Emphasis was placed on the importance of intellectual property protection, particularly for new technologies in start-up ventures.
Presidential Acknowledgment and Encouragement
President Andrzej Duda listened to three presentations on innovative agricultural projects and expressed gratitude for the innovators’ work. He emphasized the critical role of agriculture in Poland’s future, encouraging further development. He noted that agriculture is a vital sector of the Polish economy and export, competing globally.
The President also visited mini exhibitions showcasing innovations. The second part of the event featured a panel discussion titled “How Start–ups Transform Polish Agriculture? The Importance of Innovation and Intellectual Property Protection in the Agri-Food Sector.” Participants included Minister Piotr Ćwik, Deputy Chief of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, and Presidential Advisors. The Polish Patent Office partnered with the event for the second time.
