    Israel’s Ambassador Summoned by Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs

    Poland’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrzej Szejna, has announced that Israel’s Ambassador, Jakov Livne, has been summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday at 10 a.m. Szejna is scheduled to meet the diplomat in person.

    Tragic Incident in Gaza Prompts Diplomatic Action

    Following the deaths of seven volunteers, including a Pole, from the humanitarian organization World Central Kitchen in Gaza, allegedly due to Israeli army fire, Poland expresses shock. The volunteers were delivering food aid from Cyprus when the tragedy occurred.

    Calls for Unbiased Investigation

    In a conversation with Israel’s Foreign Minister, Israel Katz, Poland’s Foreign Minister, Radosław Sikorski, expressed outrage and called for an impartial investigation into the incident. Ambassador Livne emphasized that Israel’s defense forces would never intentionally target a humanitarian convoy, urging for a thorough investigation into the tragic event.
