Jarosław Kaczyński hints at Poland’s next prime minister: “I’m only announcing it”

Did Jarosław Kaczyński name the future prime minister during today’s rally? His words during the speech seem to make it quite clear.

During today’s demonstration against the migration pact and the EU-Mercosur agreement, the first to take the floor was the leader of the Law and Justice party (PiS), Jarosław Kaczyński.

He thanked everyone gathered at today’s rally at Castle Square for their presence.

“Today, I’m only here as a supplement to Mr. Rafał [Bochenek], who always conducts such meetings excellently,” Kaczyński began.

“I’m only announcing it. Behind me are two prime ministers – Prime Minister [Beata] Szydło and Prime Minister [Mateusz] Morawiecki. Behind me is also Prime Minister Mariusz Błaszczak, because he was deputy prime minister, and politeness dictates that in this case one says ‘prime minister’. And finally – he hasn’t been prime minister yet, but he probably will be – Minister Przemysław Czarnek,” added the leader of Law and Justice (PiS).
