Kaczyński: “Today, evil is the norm, completely tolerated by this government”

In the midst of the turmoil over the spending of the National Recovery Plan (KPO) for entrepreneurs in the HoReCa sector, there also appeared a statement from the president of the Supreme Audit Office (NIK) unfavorable to the authorities. Jarosław Kaczyński, leader of Law and Justice, addressed the matter.

It concerns a surprising publication from Friday morning. Marian Banaś indicated that no corruption had been found in the Polish Development Fund (PFR), and the audit findings showed that state aid provided to entrepreneurs by PFR contributed to mitigating the economic effects of the pandemic.

“Although there was no ‘sorry’, I take this statement as a form of apology and withdrawal of those untrue words. This is important because the activities of the PFR team, aimed at countering the effects of the pandemic, were effective, unprecedented in Poland’s history, and professional” – commented Paweł Borys, former president of PFR, on platform X.

Now the PiS leader has returned to the matter. Jarosław Kaczyński accused his opponents that “the NIK statement confirmed that the foundation of the current government’s campaign was a lie”.

“Even if something improper happened during our rule, we reacted ourselves. Today, evil is the norm, completely tolerated by this government” – stated the PiS leader.
