Mentzen Explains Tusk’s State: Panic Level Comparable to April 1945

Sławomir Mentzen published a tweet on X just before midnight on June 26, in which he unequivocally described the condition that — in his opinion — Donald Tusk is currently in.

Mentzen’s post is a reaction to a tweet by Donald Tusk, which the leader of the December 13 Coalition posted on his X profile on Thursday. It also responds to a chain of events that began in December 2023 and culminated in the moment of Tusk’s post:

“A serious test lies ahead for the leaders of the 15X Coalition. I know it’s hard to find legal and effective ways to act in the systemic mess we inherited from PiS. If you don’t know how to behave, then at the very least, behave decently. And don’t let yourselves be divided.”

Whatever Donald Tusk meant does not bode well for Poland. Sławomir Mentzen summarised the meaning and implications on his profile:

“Tusk’s nervousness is understandable. All of his coalition partners and most of his own party have left him alone with this anti-state, psychiatric theory about rigged elections. All he has left is Murański, invoking Giertych’s Kamraci, and the most unhinged X users. If Tusk truly believes that his coalition partners will follow this call for illegal actions, then the scale of his panic and detachment from reality must already be at the level of Hitler in the bunker in April 1945.”
