An unusual situation unfolded on the bridge in Słubice. For several hours, an illegal migrant remained there, reportedly pushed across the border into Poland by German authorities. However, the Polish Border Guard refused to accept him, which triggered an outburst from a German citizen. The woman got into a heated argument with members of the Border Defense Movement.
Despite border controls introduced by the government, illegal migrants continue to be transferred at the Polish-German border. This process reportedly involves the German police, who send groups of foreigners into Poland. Upon arrival, these individuals are typically received by the Polish Border Guard and later relocated to various locations within the country.
Citizen patrols from the Border Defense Movement are still active at the border, keeping an eye on the actions of both the authorities and the services. This citizen initiative has drawn criticism from the December 13 coalition, whose politicians frequently launch verbal attacks against Polish patriots, calling them names such as “militants” and “fascists.”
German Woman vs. Border Defense Movement
This morning, videos surfaced on social media showing footage from the bridge in Słubice. In the recording, a young illegal migrant wearing a blanket with a tiger motif can be seen walking back and forth across the bridge. He was allegedly pushed over to the Polish side by German authorities, but the Polish Border Guard refused to take him in.
Eventually, according to Republika journalist Janusz Życzkowski, the migrant was taken back to Germany. However, another video also emerged, showing a German woman approaching members of the Border Defense Movement to provoke an argument.
In the video, the woman is heard yelling and demanding that the migrant be allowed into Poland. The footage was aired on Republika TV.
“This woman is shouting at Poles: ‘Take him!’ Where is that famed German hospitality? What is this?” commented Michał Rachoń during his show. “They’re arguing and blaming Poles for not doing what they want them to do.”
