President Karol Nawrocki received Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney at the White House. The Presidential Chancellery released information on the topics of their talks.
According to the statement published on social media, the Polish head of state and the Canadian head of government discussed “bilateral relations, including political and economic cooperation, as well as collaboration in the field of energy and military affairs.”
“The conversation also touched on the Polish diaspora in Canada, which numbers over one million people, and the current international situation – including issues related to Ukraine and peace negotiations,” the Chancellery added.
The office emphasized that “this is Mark Carney’s first visit to Poland since assuming the leadership of the Canadian government in March of this year.”
