In the February public trust ranking among leading figures on the Polish political scene, there are no major changes at the top of the podium. President Karol Nawrocki remains the leader, followed by Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, and Prime Minister Donald Tusk in third place.
In the February survey prepared by IBRiS, President Karol Nawrocki received 48.8% positive ratings (28.2% “strongly trust” and 20.6% “rather trust”). This marks an increase of 1.1 percentage points compared to the January survey. Meanwhile, 42.8% of respondents hold a negative opinion of him (33.4% “strongly distrust” and 9.4% “rather distrust”).
The Foreign Minister retains second place. Compared to the previous month, Radosław Sikorski recorded a 2.7 percentage point increase in positive ratings. He enjoys a trust level of 46.7%. However, he also has a negative electorate: in February, 37% of respondents declared that they do not trust him.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk maintains third place in the ranking. This month, 41.2% of survey participants expressed trust in the head of government, 0.5 percentage points less than in January. Fourth place also remains unchanged and belongs to Sejm Speaker Włodzimierz Czarzasty. He is trusted by 41% of respondents, reflecting a slight increase of 0.3 percentage points compared to the previous month.
Governing Opposition Near the End of the Top Ten
Fifth place goes to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz (39.7% trust), who has overtaken Krzysztof Bosak, with 36.2% public trust. The Confederation politician is the leading figure among opposition members in the Sejm.
Just behind him in the ranking is Mateusz Morawiecki (35.8% trust).
The survey by the Institute for Market and Social Research (IBRiS) for Onet was conducted on 20-21 February 2026 using computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI) on a sample of 1,100 adult Poles.
