NCCN Collaborates to Enhance Cancer Care in Poland

The National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®) is joining two significant events in Warsaw on May 21-22, 2024, focused on advancing cancer care. Organized by the National Institute of Oncology, the Polish Oncological Society, and the Alliance for Innovation foundation, these meetings highlight the collaborative achievements between Poland and the USA in healthcare.

Adapting NCCN Guidelines for Poland

NCCN’s involvement aims to support Poland’s National Oncology Strategy. “It’s an honor to contribute to Poland’s ambitious National Oncology Strategy,” said Dr. Crystal S. Denlinger, CEO of NCCN. The partnership has led to six adaptations of the NCCN Guidelines tailored to Polish cancer patients’ needs.

Future Updates and New Guidelines

NCCN will update guidelines for cervical, colorectal, and ovarian cancers. New guidelines will cover adolescent and young adult oncology, anal, colon, uterine, and vulvar cancers. Additional published guidelines include breast, CNS, and head and neck cancers.

Global Impact

NCCN offers over 20 global guideline adaptations and more than 270 translations. Learn more at NCCN.org/global.
