“Let this be a year of genuine change,” said Tomasz Sakiewicz, President of Telewizja Republika, addressing participants of Wystrzałowy Sylwester with Telewizja Republika in his New Year’s message.
From 7:30 p.m., Wystrzałowy Sylwester with Telewizja Republika has been underway in Chełm. The large crowd gathered for the celebration, together with the station’s journalists, counted down the final seconds to the New Year. Shortly beforehand, New Year’s wishes were delivered, among others, by Telewizja Republika President Tomasz Sakiewicz.
“Dear friends, let this be a year of genuine change. Let this be a republican year, with Telewizja Republika,” he said.
As he noted, “we deserve a better Poland; we deserve to change it.”
“And I wish peace to all of us. Peace to you, Poland; peace for Europe; peace for the entire world. May God grant us peace. May God grant us freedom. May God allow us to live in truth. May all of Poland, the whole world, live by the values to which we are attached—those passed down from our forefathers,” he concluded.
