“People, run! The doctors are coming!” – with this timely cry, doctors Piotr Lisiewicz and Jakub Maciejewski, accompanied by Nurse Samo Zło, portrayed by rapper Maciej Gnatowski, stormed into the studio of the program Piachem w tryby today.
The guests of the VIP lounge received a very different welcome, complete with a red carpet and a garland reading “Welcome, Dear Civic Platform (KO) Patients!” A stand filled with IV drips labeled “0.7” was also set up in the studio.
“Which IV drip would you like, Minister – plain or flavored?” the doctors asked a cardboard cutout of Marcin Kierwiński.
The happening can be watched in the video below.
“It’s simply not true that Dr. Kacprzyk has no medical specialty. His specialty is right there in his surname – he’s an expert in treating hangovers, because his name contains the word kac (hangover). And the word clinic comes from treating a hangover with ‘the hair of the dog.’ That’s where Kacprzyk’s clinic comes from,” Piotr Lisiewicz explained.
During the conversation, an unfortunate incident occurred – envelopes spilled out of the doctors’ pockets.
“Who has a sore belly button?” they asked the VIP guests.
The hosts also presented a new version of the classic children’s poem The Sick Kitten, titled “The Sick MP.” It begins:
“The MP was sick and lying in bed,
When the doctor arrived and gently said:
‘What have you been drinking, little kitty?’
‘Oh, quite a lot,’ he answered without pity.
Dr. Kacprzyk then checked his pulse with care,
For the patient was seriously ill there.
Dr. Kacprzyk is a scholar of great fame,
So millions in pay are rightly his claim!
He frowned and quietly muttered his refrain:
‘Yes… once again, it’s an echo problem to blame…'”
