“In accordance with the decision of President Jarosław Kaczyński and the leadership of Law and Justice, we have dissolved the Po Pierwsze Polska (Poland First) association,” PiS MP Jacek Sasin announced on social media. Earlier, the Presidium of the party’s Political Committee decided to ban party members from participating in organizations of a political nature.
The Presidium of the PiS Political Committee adopted a resolution introducing “a ban on the activity and participation of Law and Justice members in associations, foundations, and other organizations of a political nature.” According to party spokesman Rafał Bochenek, the decision applied, among others, to Mateusz Morawiecki’s Rozwój Plus (Development Plus) association and Jacek Sasin’s Po Pierwsze Polska (Poland First).
Shortly afterward, Sasin announced his decision.
“In accordance with the decision of President Jarosław Kaczyński and the leadership of Law and Justice, we have dissolved the Po Pierwsze Polska association,” he wrote on X.
“From the very first day, our goal was the unity of Law and Justice. We remain loyal to our party and to President Jarosław Kaczyński. All activities, projects, and initiatives that were launched or planned within the association will now be carried out within the structures of Law and Justice,” he added.
Sasin also argued that “Donald Tusk’s government is bad for Poland and victory is now within our reach.”
“We cannot waste this opportunity. Only PiS can remove Tusk from power. We need unity, discipline, and joint work within a broad patriotic front. We will win and take responsibility for Poland’s future. On to victory,” he concluded.
