Piotr ‘Grabo’ Grabowski made an unbelievable feat when he jumped 10 feet and 5 inches in the air and successfully passed the ball underneath his leg from one hand to the other resulting in the highest between-the-legs slam dunk. This height of 3.2 metres (10 ft 5 in) surpasses the standard NBA basketball hoop of 3.05 metres (10 ft), a height that is out of reach for most of us.
“The record-breaking moment was organised by global technology brand HONOR in a bid to demonstrate the camera capabilities of the new HONOR Magic5 Series smartphone. Using HONOR’s new AI Motion Sensing technology, the phone was able to automatically capture the momentous slam dunk,”

“I have set a new Guinness World Record! Some time ago, Guinness World Records contacted me to see if I would like to set a new record in partnership with Honor Global. At first, I was sceptical a little bit, but after a moment’s thought, I decided why not. As you know, or not, the sized basket is 3.05 metres (10 ft) and if it happens to be a bit higher in the competition, it is already difficult. Generally, in dunking a few cm difference makes difference. So I thought, why not try a between-the-legs slam dunk on a 3.15 metres (10 ft 3 in) basket? Which I thought would be a difficult challenge. As it turned out 315 was not a problem and I nailed it on my first attempt and I managed to dunk at 3.2 metres (10 ft 5 in)! which I thought was not very realistic. I think it’s cool to initiate such a record for the highest between-the-legs slam dunk,”

Piotr ‘Grabo’ Grabowski is a two-time FIBA 3×3 World Champion. ‘Grabo’ is also the winner of the Shutuandplay dunk contest in Berlin (jumping over NBA star Donovan Mitchell). He has won 15 contests during FIBA 3X3 competitions (in Canada, Czech Republic, Hungary, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar), and in total, he has won 56 dunk contests in Poland and around the world.
