    In Budapest, the 50th anniversary of the Sándor Petőfi Polish School at the Polish Embassy was recently commemorated. The school, now home to over a hundred students across primary and high school levels, has played a pivotal role in preserving ties with Poland.

    The First Lady extends her warmest congratulations to the organizers and participants, expressing gratitude to those who contributed to the school’s establishment and ongoing success. She particularly thanks the school’s leadership, educators, and mentors for their dedication, acknowledging their role in imparting knowledge about Polish geography, culture, and traditions.

    Reflecting on her visit in September 2021, the First Lady praises the school’s modern facilities and the enthusiastic students. She encourages the students to persist in exploring the beauty of Polish literature and history through their continued study of the Polish language.
