    Polish Success in Innsbruck: Żyła and Stoch Shine Despite Wind Challenges

    The third stop of the Four Hills Tournament provided thrilling moments as Piotr Żyła and Kamil Stoch showcased exceptional skills, overcoming the challenging wind conditions. The podium, however, belonged to Austria’s Jan Hoerl, while Ryoyu Kobayashi claimed the overall tournament lead.


    Żyła’s Resurgence and Stoch’s Stylish Jump

    Piotr Żyła impressed with a strong first jump, leading at one point, ultimately finishing 14th. Kamil Stoch secured 11th place, delivering his best jump of the season at 130 meters. Windy conditions proved influential, adding an extra layer of difficulty.

    For the first time this season, four Polish athletes advanced to the second round. Paweł Wąsek overcame a 108-meter jump, securing a narrow victory, while Aleksander Zniszczoł advanced as a lucky loser.

    Kobayashi Takes Control

    Ryoyu Kobayashi’s strong performance in Innsbruck catapulted him to the top of the Four Hills Tournament standings, holding a 4.8-point lead over Andreas Wellinger.
