According to a recent Manpower Group study conducted across 16 countries, Polish employees rank highly in confidence regarding their skills. An impressive 92% of Poles believe they possess the necessary skills and experience for their jobs—5 percentage points above the global average of 87%. This confidence is a core metric in the “Career Stability Index,” where Poland scored 79%, also exceeding the global average of 74%.
Access to Tools and Career Growth
The survey revealed that 87% of Polish respondents have access to the tools they need for their work, compared to 78% globally. However, disparities exist between roles: 93% of specialists and managers report sufficient resources, while only 76% of customer service workers agree. Additionally, 76% of Polish employees believe their workplace offers upskilling opportunities, closely aligning with the global average.
Opportunities and Challenges
Over half (60%) of Polish workers see opportunities for promotion, surpassing the global average of 57%. Yet, significant gender gaps persist among Gen Z employees, prompting calls for transparent promotion policies and bias-awareness training.
