On Thursday at 8:00 p.m., President Andrzej Duda will deliver a public address ahead of the second round of the presidential election, presidential spokesperson Diana Głownia announced to the media. She emphasized that the address will be distributed to all media outlets.
On Sunday, June 1, the runoff will see Civic Coalition candidate Rafał Trzaskowski face off against Karol Nawrocki, who is backed by the Law and Justice party (PiS). The second round will determine the winner—whoever receives the most votes will become the next president. The pre-election silence period will begin at midnight on Friday.
