President Duda visits Jordan to discuss Middle East security, military cooperation, and Ukraine war efforts with King Abdullah II.
Polish President Andrzej Duda began an official visit to Jordan on Monday, focusing on military cooperation and Middle East tensions. On Tuesday, he is set to meet King Abdullah II for private talks, followed by discussions with delegations. Duda emphasized King Abdullah’s influence in the region, particularly on issues surrounding the Israel-Palestine conflict and the Gaza crisis.
During their discussions, Duda aims to gain insight into Jordan’s perspective on resolving Middle East conflicts and mitigating their global impacts. The leaders will also visit the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center (KASOTC). Additionally, Duda is scheduled to meet Jordanian Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan to explore bilateral military cooperation and address the war in Ukraine.
The Polish president underlined the importance of Jordan as a key partner in promoting regional and global stability. His visit, which concludes Wednesday, highlights Poland’s commitment to strengthening ties in defense and diplomacy with Middle Eastern allies.
