The Explosive New Year’s Eve in the Lublin Region, organized for the second time in Chełm by TV Republika, is now behind us. Polish and international stars of popular music performed, to whose rhythms thousands of people in front of the stage and millions in front of their television sets celebrated.
“New Year’s Eve night in Chełm absolutely did not end at midnight. Only when 2026 arrived did it gain its full power. Despite the cold and snow, people stayed under the stage until dawn. Crowds danced, sang, and celebrated as if the new year were to last forever,” reports the BlaskOnline.pl portal.
“A fantastic impression, many people, attendance exceeded expectations and it was really hot. Despite unfavorable weather, despite the cold, there were several tens of thousands of us here, millions in front of television screens. That means the celebration was a success – it was hot, an incredible atmosphere, the New Year’s Eve itself dynamic, very well directed, everything worked out, we are delighted, satisfied, just like the residents of Chełm,” Jakub Banaszak, President of Chełm said today on TV Republika.
“The city of Chełm handled technical, organizational, and formal matters. Over the past three weeks, intensive work was carried out to set up the stage and ensure the highest possible level of safety. The tasks were divided, and I think it must be said that good cooperation between TV Republika and the Lublin Voivodeship local government, the city of Chełm, and a clear division of roles resulted in the creation of an incredible artistic event, an exceptional New Year’s Eve celebration,” added the local government official.
