On Christmas night, approximately 60 balloons appeared in Polish airspace coming from the direction of Belarus. According to the services, the illegal intrusion of these objects was continuously monitored. Despite this, so far the police have reported finding only seven objects – four in the Podlaskie Voivodeship and three in the Lublin Voivodeship.

In some cases, only contraband cigarettes were found. There were no traces of balloons or tracking devices at the sites. The National Security Bureau (BBN) indicates that a provocation may have been carried out under the cover of smuggling.
The objective is entirely different
Participants in the program Rewolwer on TV Republika primarily emphasized the prolonged silence of the media on this matter, initially, information appeared only on the station’s broadcast. The Niezalezna.pl portal also conducted its own inquiries, attempting to obtain information from individual services regarding the ongoing search operations.
“Our opponent is gaining knowledge. We are not reacting in a way that would cut him off from that knowledge,” Piotr Matczuk summarized the actions taken by the services so far. He pointed out that by carrying out hostile activities around holidays and days off, the adversary can easily “map our reactions.” He added that the operation of monitoring systems is also being closely observed.
