Right-Wing Powerhouses: Kaczyński and Nawrocki Leave Rivals Far Behind

Jarosław Kaczyński remains the most important figure on the Polish right, but right behind him stands President Karol Nawrocki. The latest SW Research poll shows that it is these two who clearly dominate the race for the title of leader of the right side of the political scene.

Although a year has already passed since Karol Nawrocki’s victory in the presidential election, Jarosław Kaczyński is still seen as the leader of the right by the largest group of Poles. However, the SW Research survey for rp.pl indicates that the chairman of Law and Justice (PiS) and President Karol Nawrocki received the highest number of indications – almost equally.

Leaders of the right: Kaczyński and Nawrocki

Jarosław Kaczyński is considered the leader of the Polish right by 19.7 percent of respondents. Slightly fewer indications went to Karol Nawrocki, who was chosen by 19 percent of those surveyed. This means that two politicians associated with the Law and Justice (PiS) camp account for nearly 39 percent of all responses combined.

This result clearly distinguishes them from other right-wing politicians. Third place was taken by Sławomir Mentzen, who was indicated by 7 percent of respondents. They were followed by:
Grzegorz Braun (5.4 percent)
Krzysztof Bosak (4.8 percent)
Przemysław Czarnek (3.6 percent)

The survey also shows that Nawrocki enjoys particularly strong support among the youngest respondents. In the group of young participants, as many as 27 percent consider him the leader of the Polish right. This result suggests that the president is effectively building influence among a new generation of voters.

Jarosław Kaczyński, in turn, remains a symbol of stable leadership for a large part of the electorate. He was most frequently indicated by respondents with primary or lower secondary education, among whom he received 31 percent of responses.

Yesterday, TV Republika reported on the results of a similar survey conducted for “Super Express”.

In that poll, Jarosław Kaczyński was indicated by 38 percent of respondents, which shows that for a large part of the right-wing electorate he remains the politician with the greatest authority and influence. His position, for now, appears stable. The SW Research survey was conducted on June 2-3, 2026, on a group of 800 adult internet users.
