Sakiewicz at CPAC Dallas: “Freedom in Poland Still Requires Struggle”

During the CPAC 2026 conference in Dallas, Tomasz Sakiewicz took the floor, emphasizing the importance of Polish–American relations and a shared community of values. “There are two nations that always believe in friendship (…) the Polish and the American,” he said from the stage. In his speech, he also addressed the issue of freedom and the political situation, stating that “in Poland, we still have to fight for it,” contrasting this with the realities in the United States.

At CPAC 2026 in Dallas, Tomasz Sakiewicz appeared on stage and spoke about relations between Poland and the United States, pointing to both historical and contemporary ties between the two countries.

“There are two nations that always believe in friendship. Do you know which nations those are? The Polish and the American. We always help each other, support one another, and fight the same enemies,”

he said.

Sakiewicz stressed that these relations are enduring and date back to the very beginnings of the United States. “Since the founding of the United States, we have been united in spirit,” he noted.

In the next part of his speech, he referred to the Cold War period and the role of American leadership. “During the time of communism, Ronald Reagan was a beacon of hope for freedom for us,” he said.

Referring to the present day, he pointed to the continued need to fight for freedom.

“Freedom has come to Poland, and indeed we still have to fight for it, both in Poland and in the United States,”

he emphasized.

In his speech, he also compared the political situation in both countries. “You have it easier, because your entire government supports freedom,” he said, addressing the American audience.

In conclusion, he expressed expectations regarding future actions of the Polish authorities.

“We believe that one day our government will support freedom in the same way as the President of the Republic of Poland,”

he said.

The presence of Tomasz Sakiewicz was announced by Michał Rachoń.

“Tomasz Sakiewicz is with us, the president of the largest conservative television network in Europe, in fact, the only one,”

he said.

In his remarks, he also referred to the situation surrounding the organization of CPAC in Poland the previous year. “Tomasz had a very easy choice. He could be today in the office of the Prosecutor General of the liberal-left government for organizing CPAC in Poland last year, or he could be here with you today. Of course, he chose to be here with you,” he said.

Rachoń also highlighted the scale of the media venture created by Sakiewicz.

“Tomasz has done something truly great and remarkable. He built the largest conservative television network in Europe on one thing – the solidarity of millions of Poles who are being attacked by the liberal-left, globalist government of Donald Tusk,”

he noted.

As he added, this activity is based on public support. “He achieved this thanks to funds from ordinary Polish citizens,” he said.

He also extended thanks to those supporting conservative media. “We would like to thank all the people who directly support the only conservative media in Poland,” he concluded.
