The motion submitted by the prosecution to lift the parliamentary immunity of Zbigniew Ziobro – received by members of parliament as well as by TVN24 – contains the former justice minister’s sensitive personal data, including his national identification number (PESEL) and home address, PiS MPs warned during Thursday’s meeting of the parliamentary Rules Committee.
“These materials disclose sensitive data of MP Zbigniew Ziobro. They include his PESEL number and address. The only proper course of action is to suspend the committee’s proceedings, withdraw these materials, and classify the sensitive data,”
said MP Anita Czerwińska.
“The whole country already has this motion. You handed it over to the media. TVN24 has it,”
argued PiS members.
On Friday morning, TVN proudly announced on social media:
“We have obtained the motion requesting parliamentary consent to bring Zbigniew Ziobro to criminal liability. The 159-page document has already been delivered to the Speaker of the Sejm. We describe the content of each of the 26 charges that prosecutors intend to bring against the former minister.”
The objections raised by PiS MPs were ignored. The session continued.
