Today, on March 7th, 2023, we celebrate the birthday of one of the most accomplished Polish pilots and surgeons – Edmund Mikołajczyk. Born in 1935, Mikołajczyk achieved many accomplishments in his career and is one of the most important figures in the history of Polish aviation.
Mikołajczyk began his career as a glider pilot and quickly became one of the best in the country. He later started flying planes and specialized in aerobatic flying. He was a representative of Poland in world and European championships, winning many medals and awards. His piloting skills were so impressive that he was invited to perform in films and airshows around the world.
Despite his success as a pilot, Mikołajczyk did not forget about his profession as a surgeon. He graduated from medical school and specialized in surgery, working for many years in hospitals in Poland and abroad. He was also a flight and gliding instructor as well as a coach for young pilots.
Today, on the occasion of Edmund Mikołajczyk’s 88th birthday, it is worth recalling his achievements and contributions to the development of Polish aviation. He was not only a great pilot, but also an excellent doctor and instructor. His passion for aviation and medicine has inspired many people and contributed to the development of these fields in Poland and around the world. Therefore, from the bottom of our hearts, we wish Edmund Mikołajczyk all the best on his birthday!
