The disgusting Civic Coalition (KO) ad about Karol Nawrocki didn’t go over well even within the coalition itself, “I wouldn’t have released it”

It turns out that the Civic Coalition (KO) ad targeting President Karol Nawrocki didn’t sit well even with members of the party. “If it were up to me, I wouldn’t have released material of this kind,” said Warsaw KO councillor Paweł Lech on TV Republika.

Today marks 100 days of Karol Nawrocki’s presidency. Voters rate this period positively – nearly 56 percent of Poles are satisfied with the new president, while 31 percent feel otherwise. During this time, the head of the Polish state submitted 11 legislative initiatives to the Sejm. In addition, the president signed 70 bills, issued 13 vetoes and made 11 foreign visits.

In connection with the president’s “first 100 days”, the Civic Coalition (KO) released a venomous ad in which the head of state was called “a veto-machine” who “doesn’t care about projects important for Poland”.

He is not the president of Poland. He is yet another resident of Kaczyński, the narrator says in the recording.”

Politicians within the Civic Coalition (KO) themselves also have objections to the ad.

“In my view, this video is not the kind of material that should reach a wide audience. I hope it remains only within a smaller bubble…,” said Warsaw KO councillor Paweł Lech on TV Republika.

Asked whether releasing this video was a mistake, he replied:

If it were up to me, I wouldn’t have released material of this kind.”

Would he remove it from the internet?

You can’t remove anything from the internet, so once it’s released, it’s going to keep circulating.”
