Adam Andruszkiewicz, who is set to become Deputy Head of the Presidential Chancellery, announced that the Council for the Reform of the State System—mentioned by President Karol Nawrocki in his inaugural address—will convene within “a few weeks.” “It’s a matter of the coming weeks; most presidential councils will begin operating around September,” he added.
In his address before the National Assembly, President Karol Nawrocki emphasized the need to begin work on amending the constitution. He expressed hope that a new version would be ready by 2030.
The president also declared that he would establish a Council for the Reform of the State System and would invite representatives from all political factions to join.
When asked on Telewizja Republika about the timeline for the council’s first meeting, Adam Andruszkiewicz, who is scheduled to officially assume his new role on Thursday, responded that it would take place in a few weeks.
“I think it’s a matter of the coming weeks, as most presidential councils will begin operating around September. So I believe in a few weeks we will start gathering collaborators—respected figures—to begin fixing the Republic of Poland’s system after what Donald Tusk has done to it,” Andruszkiewicz declared.
