The President’s Spokesperson Summarizes 100 Days of the Presidency. “I’ve Known Karol for Many Years…”

It has been 100 days since Karol Nawrocki became President of Poland. “Every day, Poles see that the slogan Po pierwsze Polska! Po pierwsze Polacy! is not an empty phrase – it is action carried out day by day in this presidency – exactly the kind our compatriots expect”, writes Rafał Leśkiewicz, spokesperson for the President of the Republic of Poland, on x.com.

Today marks exactly 100 days since Karol Nawrocki was sworn in as President of Poland, an event that took place on 6 August of this year.

When hearing about “100 days”, many of us may immediately think of “Tusk’s 100 promises for the first 100 days of government”, but in the case of President Nawrocki things look entirely different. Already yesterday, the President’s Chancellery prepared a detailed overview of the actions undertaken by the head of state over more than three months in office.

These include, for example, the President’s initiatives such as:

“Cheap Electricity -33%”,
“Dignified Retirement”,
“YES! to Polish Ports”,
Amendments to the Institute of National Remembrance Act (IPN) and the Criminal Code,
Public assistance for Ukrainians,
Breakthrough Technologies Development Fund,
Amendments to the Polish Citizenship Act,
Energy price freeze,
Protection of the Polish countryside,
Zero PIT. Family Plus,
YES! to Central Communication Port (CPK)

“So Much Has Happened”

The spokesperson for the President of the Republic of Poland, Rafał Leśkiewicz, published on social media a post summarizing the first 100 days of Karol Nawrocki’s presidency.

A year ago, when Karol Nawrocki, then President of the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN), announced his run in the presidential election, many were already saying that this would be a game changer in Polish politics. They were not wrong, he notes at the outset.

He continues: “Karol Nawrocki very quickly gained people’s trust with his energy and authenticity. Over the following months of the campaign, he went through a long and difficult journey. Thanks to his strength of character, confidence, and exceptional charisma, he earned the trust of millions of Poles. He won the presidential election and today he leads trust rankings. His motto is effectiveness, consistency, and keeping his word.” Leśkiewicz also emphasizes: “I’ve known Karol Nawrocki for several years and I can say with full conviction that this has always been the case. Today marks 100 days of his presidency, 100 days of striving for a better Poland: sovereign, safe, lawful, normal, prosperous, and with bold, large-scale investments. Just over three months have passed since Karol Nawrocki’s swearing-in, and so much has already happened. Every day, Poles see that the slogan Po pierwsze Polska! Po pierwsze Polacy! is not an empty phrase – it is action carried out day by day in this presidency – exactly the kind our compatriots expect.”
